Have you ever wanted to get away from it all? Here’s a story about a salon and suites getaway adventure.
I moved out to the country a few years ago. The idea was to get away from it the entire City and my customers at least for the weekend. The block I lived on was a mile and a half long! It was a straight street with a turnaround down at the end. One day I noticed that cars would come down this road and make the turnaround but about halfway down the street after they had gotten up speed they would throw sacks out of their vehicles. They were throwing their trash out. This upset me my street like life is not to have trash throw on it. I thought about what I could do to stop the cycle of trash throwing it was growing into a stress issue for me. One day on a Sunday while pondering what could be done about trash pickup and stop trashing a car that I had never seen on our street came flying down our street and turned around at the end and headed my way very quickly so I went that direction. I knew that they were going to throw trash out and keep going. The car got just past my acreage and sure enough, they let the bag fly. It was a large black plastic trash sack it really distressed me and I could not believe that people could be so inconsiderate! I even chased them away on the road for I was really dismayed at what they had just done! I walked back to the sack.
When I got to the sack of what I thought was garbage I noticed that it was moving. I thought this is probably a snake or something really strange why else would you toss it. I bent down and carefully tore open the plastic sack I did not want to get bitten or attacked by something and I was not sure what to expect. I could hear my granddad from old saying to me, “hope for the best and expect the worst.” Thanks grandpa I thought as I reached down and took the bag in my hands and tore a small hole just to see what was going to attack me! It’s a puppy a broken furry little thing and she needed my help.
I carefully loaded her up in my truck and got in and drove to Ft Worth, Texas where my vet practices his medicine to animals. I was growing attached to this little puppy and she still needed my help.
This reminded me of a time when I had received a bad haircut at a high-end salon. I needed help so I searched the internet, type in the words find salon. The search revealed several independently own salon space leasing business. I was intrigued by the fact all these salon businesses were located at the same address. A salon suite rental business concept, it’s like a beauty mini-mall of beauty professionals.
At one location you could find a hairstylist working a business out of a salon chair rental. There was also at the same location were nail salon suites. Massage therapist leasing spa space and esthetician with the practice of skincare. This was going to be the best adventure I would be able to have all my unwinding let it all go needs taken care of while getting my bad haircut corrected.
You asked what happen to the trash bag puppy? Well, when we made it to the vet’s office. After finishing all the paperwork she not only got her help she got her new name. “Beauty” was the name I chose. She heeled even without a limp and she became my best fur-child friend.
