Massage Space for Rent

With that in mind, what do you need for a professional massage space or booth rental?

We believe the absolute minimum needed for a successful location should include:

  • Professional setting/location
  • Private entrance to your massage office
  • Professional equipment/furniture
  • WiFi for marketing and connecting with customers
  • Ample parking
  • Centralized location on busy street/arterial
  • Walk-up access if possible

Which leaves you with this question: what are your options?

We have been in this business for quite a few years now, and in our opinion, you have three basic options available to you:

  • Work out of your home in a home-based business setting
  • Rent an existing salon suite from a beauty salon owned by someone else
  • Rent your own massage salon booth for rent from a place like Salon & Spa Galleria

A closer look at these three options

Working from home

This option has its attractive points.  Working from home basically means no rental fee and no real added cost with regards to location.  It does, however, require you to possibly adjust your home so that it appears attractive.  It might mean some remodeling to provide a separate entrance for your business.  And it means a certain amount of confusion for customers as they navigate through a neighborhood looking for a business. This option is financially attractive but not ideal from a professional standpoint.

Renting existing suite from established beauty salon

The booth is there waiting for you when you rent in an existing beauty salon.  Management of the salon is done by someone else. Upkeep of the building is taken care of, there is usually ample parking, and the setting is professional. Unfortunately, you will be working for commissions, usually in the 40% range, and that means a much smaller piece of the profit pie.

Rent your own salon booth and you be the boss
