Foot Massage

Foot massage specialists, sports massage therapists, Swedish massage specialists, Prenatal massage specialists, and therapeutic massage therapists, looking for a massage therapy booth, this article is for you.

We are Salon & Spa Galleria, serving the Greater Fort Worth area with fourteen locations, and we know a thing or two about a massage therapy suite.  Call our leasing professionals at (817) 823-7105 or (817) 917-1416 for all the information you need about renting a luxurious massage space for rent from us, and to arrange for a tour of our facilities closest to you.

But right now let’s talk about the process of renting a massage spa space for rent, and whether you are a viable candidate to go it alone in the massage industry.  We can rent you a professional studio for rent at a very affordable price (as low as $50 per week, utilities included, at select locations), but that doesn’t mean that great deal will work for you.  Some people, and this is a painful truth, simply do not have the personal qualities necessary to make it on their own.

Do you?

What you need to go it alone as a massage therapist

We break down this list of qualities this way:

  • You must be a self-starter
  • You must be a hard-worker
  • You must be willing to put in the hours necessary to succeed
  • You must have great people skills
  • You must have great marketing skills
  • You must be organized and detail-oriented

Let’s look briefly at each of these qualities.

Self-starter

When you are in business for yourself, you have no boss looking over your shoulder making sure you are getting the work done. There is no one whispering in your ear to get up and get to work.  There is no one prodding you to do the little things necessary to succeed.  You are on your own, and not everyone functions well in that kind of situation.

Hard-worker

Let’s be brutally honest: not everyone is a hard-worker. There are slackers out there. There are unmotivated people out there, highly-qualified and highly-trained, but simply not willing to work as hard as an entrepreneur must work to succeed.

Put in the time

Going it alone is not a 9-5 job. When your financial future depends upon your motivation, you must be willing to put in the hours to make a success of your business.  Very few, if any, successful entrepreneurs work an eight-hour day.

People skills

We can put you in a supportive environment, but we can’t give you people skills.  Successful businesses are ones which put the customers first. They are the businesses where the customer looks forward to visiting, and they look forward to visiting those businesses because they are treated well and made to feel welcome.

Marketing skills

How are you at social media marketing? How are you at guerilla marketing?  You won’t be able to afford a marketing company to do your marketing for you; that job is yours and yours alone in a sole proprietorship.

Organized and detail-oriented

Going it alone means you are the bookkeeper. It means you are the buyer. It means you take care of taxes.  It means you cross all of the T’s and dot all of the I’s. The success of your business depends upon you taking care of the little details every single day.

Do you have what it takes? If so, give us a call at Salon & Spa Galleria. We can put you into a spa suites for rent at a great price with a full list of amenities. We can make a salon booth opportunity affordable for you, and we can provide you with a business plan and marketing workshops, but you have to provide the talent and determination.
