Salon Professionals Gather to Hear Celeb Stylist David Blackstock Discuss Hair Styling Trends and Social Media Expert Eva Mayer Give Tips to Attract New Clients
Fort Worth, TX – Aug 6, 2015 — Salon and Spa Galleria will host a “Celebration of Beauty” at its newest beauty salon location near downtown Fort Worth. The event is free and intended to allow beauty professionals to come together for some fun, networking, learning and laughter.
The “Celebration of Beauty” event will feature appearances by David Blackstock, one of Fort Worth’s most prominent and talented hair stylists, as well as CEO, social media strategist and author Eve Mayer.
Along with his growing Fort Worth clientele, David Blackstock has served as personal stylist for film and television stars including Sally Struthers, Kenna McInroe, Tara Radcliffe and Margaret Colin, as well as Hollywood legends Debbie Reynolds, Joan Rivers, Carol Channing and Mamie Van Doren. His hair styling expertise has been featured on “Larry King Live,” “Politically Incorrect,” “Geraldo at Large,” the “Today Show” and on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigators.” He will speak about the latest trends in hair styling.
Social Media Delivered CEO and Humorist Eve Mayer will speak about on-line dating and using social media to grow a beauty business. Mayer is the author of “Get It Girl Guide to On-line Dating and Sextiquette” and on Forbes Magazine’s list of most influential women in social media.
The “Celebration of Beauty” will be Thursday, August 20, 2015, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at the Salon and Spa Galleria, 2613 Weisenberger Street off Seventh Street, behind Montgomery Plaza and Target and near the Spa Paws Hotel.
The “Celebration of Beauty” will also include make up and skin care demonstrations by Dillard’s, an art exhibition by Artspace111, entertainment, as well as complimentary shear sharpening.
