If you have a salon suite business . . . heck, if you have any type of business . . . it is crucial to the health of that business that you become well-acquainted and talented in social media promotions and marketing.
The nature of marketing has shifted as the consumers have shifted. It was once a world where you purchased time on radio or television for your marketing campaign. Today, 2019, it is a social media world. Facebook, Twitter, et al have changed the landscape in marketing. The sooner you learn how to traverse that new landscape the better.
Let’s give you a general outline to follow in structuring your social media campaign. You can also contact us if you have questions at (817) 823-7105.
What are your assets?
You begin by listing your assets. Not only how much money you have for a social media campaign, but also what are the assets of your business. Do you specialize in hair-coloring? Do you have twenty years of experience? Have you won awards? Anything and everything which can be considered an asset should be written down. Those assets are the cornerstone of your social media campaign about your salon booth rental business.
Sign up for social media sites
Get busy signing up for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google +, and any others you think will help you. The more the better! This will be a social media blitz, and blitzes are all-encompassing.
Hire a social media manager
You are the beauty salon business owner. You make money working in your mini beauty shop. You do not have time to engage in social media for hours each day. Hire an experienced social media manager for an hour or two per day. This will cost you anywhere from twenty to $100 per day, but it will be worth it. Suck it up, swallow the expense, and lay the groundwork for your future success.
Start racking up friends and followers
Social media marketing does not work unless you are friending people and they are friending you. Get busy. You can follow ten new people while you are taking a coffee break. This is a numbers game, so gain those numbers.
Post, post, and post some more
Consider this: we currently have a President who uses Twitter to market himself and his agenda. You may love him or hate him, but you always know what he feels . . . in a very real sense you know his product because of social media, and if it is good enough for the President of the United States, it should be good enough for your hair salon business.
Be engaging and stay current
Have some fun on social media. Be engaging. Be current. My grandmother used to say the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and that is very true of social media. The more you are seen the more likely people will remember you and your product.
